Eligibility & Applications

Eligibility for Organisations

We welcome applications from a wide variety of entities, including:

  • Registered charities
  • Volunteer organisations
  • Educational, arts, and sports entities
  • Community groups

Certain exclusions may apply, often because other funders are better suited to specific causes. We encourage potential applicants to reach out if they have questions.

Eligibility for Individuals

GEM is passionate about supporting the next generation. Our scholarships and financial assistance are primarily available to young people up to the age of 25, with support for:

  • Specialist education in music, drama, and the arts
  • Sporting academies and training camps
  • Further education, including tuition fees, travel, and living costs

The R.A. Wilson Bequest forms a cornerstone of our commitment to helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds pursue their dreams.

How to Apply

We will consider applications on a quarterly basis during our Directors’ meetings and at this time we would request that an e-mail (preferred) or a written application is submitted to the below, detailing:

  • The full name, address and contact details of the applicant, organisation or individual.
  • Detailed background information and the ongoing works and commitments of the organisation/individual.
  • The reason the support is being requested and the proposed outcomes of the funding.
  • We may wish to carry out a follow up visit to view or interview the applicant.
